I selected this student’s work because it exudes a captivating aura, making it fitting for collector’s item packaging - it really makes you wanna open it! The circuits-inspired design motif is perfectly aligned with Daft Punk’s style, yet presented in a unique and innovative manner. The use of authentic computer hardware for the outer band wrapping is a thoughtful addition. I admire designs that take risks and go beyond the ordinary, while also providing moments of visual relief, such as with the black illustrations and graphics. Altogether, really well-done work.
